My Next Book Review Bait of Satan by John Bevere

Filed under: Bait of Satan, God's Message, John Bevere, books, family, reading — Andy Depuy @ 5:17 pm

This is awsome and a book that everyone should read. The book is about how to escape the Satan’s trap that he has on us when people wheather it is our family, friends, churches we go to,people we don’t even know, other christians or even ourselves hurt us in one way or the other. Satan wants us to hurt cause then we are not looking up,we are looking at how we can make them feel or just close the doors on them including ourselves. This book shows us that with God help we can start to forgive those that hurt us and open the doors back up and lean on him and let him take the hurt, it shows how to go up to that person or even ourselves and just forgive them, and us. After the class and after i read the book we had to make a list of the people that hurt me and i was able to forgive everyone except for three and the teacher prayed over each one of us and I felt the Holy Spirit come over me like nothing before and with that i was able to forgive everyone and that included me. So I believe this was a new beginning for me. My question to you is What hurts are you still holding on to and not letting God take a hold of them. I suggest you read this book

My Book Review on the Battlefield of the Mind

Filed under: Battlefield of the Mind, Encourgement, Joyce Meyer, books, reading — Andy Depuy @ 7:01 pm

The book Battlefield of the Mind is written by Joyce Meyer and it is an awsome Godly book that I believe everyone should read. I don’t read that much but in the last month I have read two books this book and another one called Bite of Satan. Tonight I would like to tell you about this book in my own words. Battlefield of the Mind touches on several different things and ways on how our mind works and what the evil one trys to get us to think in our mind different things, things that are not apart of the kingdom of God, but also tells us as Christians we should think in a Godly way.  of course you will need to the book yourself  to get what I mean. While God istalking though our hearts we have to realize that the devil is trying to get us to think abouts things that are not honoring  God and how we should consently thinking about things that on God. the book goes over different mind sets and that each one has a spirit and it depends on how close our relationship is to God on how we handle each spirit. the devil is always tring to make us think wrongful things instead of thinking Godly things. I encough everyone that is having problems on the way they are thinking and problems with their throught process to read Battlefield of the Mind

We are back

Filed under: Uncategorized — Andy Depuy @ 5:29 pm

Ann & I had a great time on or vacation in Missouri. Our youngest grandkids was surprized when we showed up cause they didn’t know we were coming. The youngest learned how to ride her bike without training wheels I have pictures but couldn’t download them from the camera to the computer, but we had a great time playing games, watching them ride their bikes, and we did a couple of things around the house. I mowed the lawn and Ann painted the doghouse. Family is important. The other things that went on was. i made a couple of them, one is either the company i work for move me to a new building or I will see what else is out there and other things that i need to work on to make my relationship with God stronger than it can be. So it is back to work on Monday for me. Ann was called back to work today. So vacation is over and now back to business.

Time to Get Away

Filed under: Beening Honest, Getting out of town, God's Message, Just Writing, Prayer, friends — Andy Depuy @ 3:06 am

On Sat MorningAnn & I head to Missouri for a time to spend with 2 of our 10 grandchildren. It is also a time for me to get away from Nashville and so a little soul seaching. This comes from the heart. There are somethings I can tell you that have been going on and some things I am going to keep private. Three weeks ago i lost a great friend and that still hurts, my job which in security is not what it needs to be because I’m not able to do the job i need to do, and then there are the things that I need to get private. All these things have made my life in the last couple of weeks not alot of fun. I am hurting deeply and God and I are going to get all alone out in the country and we are goingto have a long talk and when we come back. I am going to make a fresh start. Cause I am tried of hurting and tired of people saying they are going to do something and don’t do it. So i will be changing some things in my life. I am not looking for pity or anything. What I am looking for only God can provide for me and that is a healing heart. I know people that read this will not understand and some will but God lead me to write this mainly to start the healing process and to let my friends know that there will be a change when i come back from the wilderness and there will be some changes. Cause lately I been not doing any clear thinking and and that is going to stop. My only request is that if you read this and you know me. Pray that I can back has a different person.

God is watching

Filed under: Encourgement, God's messenger, Prayer — Andy Depuy @ 6:22 pm

This blog is going to be just real short but i need to say this quickly before I forget. God is watching several things here in Nashville. The 1st thing he is watching are His churches like UC,Crosspoint,Crossroads,Belluve Assembly, and so many other churches here in Nashville that are impacting our community. The second thing He is watching His is people reaching and touching lives and His people doing what He wants done by praying for His people that are hurting, His people are praying for His people that need a healing touch and with those prays He is touching and changing lives. I am one of God’s prayer warriors and i am Praying for those churches and for His people that are hurting and I am not going to quit praying until all the hurting is gone and some day it will be.

We Have This Moment

Filed under: God's Message, Songs with a meaning, Uncategorized — Andy Depuy @ 9:23 pm

Tonight God wanted me to share about this song whichis called We Have This Moment.

                                  We Have This Moment

Hold tight to the sound of the music of living. Happy sounds from the laughter of children at play. Hold my hand as we walk through the sweetest fragrant memdows. Making memories of what was today.

We have this moment to hold in our hands. And to touch as it slips throughfingers like sand. Yesterdays gone and tomorrow may never come. But we have this moment today.

Tiny voice that i hear is my little girl calling. For daddy to hear just what she has to say. My little boy running there by the hillside. may never be quite like today.

We have this moment to hold in our hands. And to touch as it slips through our fingers like sand. Yesterdays gone and tomorrow may never come. But we have this moment today.

Tender  words gentle touchand a good couple of coffee. And someone who loves me and wants me to stay. Hold them dear while they’re near don’t wait for tomorrow. To look back and wish for today.

Take the moon of the sky and green of the forest. And the gold and brown of the freshly mown hay. Add the pales of spring and the circus of autumn. And review a lovly today.

We have this moment to hold in our hands. And to touch as it slips through our fingers like sand. Yesterdays gone and tomorrow may never come. But we have this moment today.

my question the ones that read this is What is your moment? Is it a moment that you can cherish your children, or is it a moment to know God personally, or do you have a moment that is important to you.

How to be yourself

Filed under: Be yourself, Encourgement, God's messenger, Open Heart, friends — Andy Depuy @ 6:08 pm

Sometimes it is hard to be yourself cause people want you to do this or that and be someone your not. By playing people games, they want you  to tell them one thing and break rules. God wants us to be ourselves, just like Jesus was himself, he never lied,or broke rules, and he was always there for others no matter what. We did to be ourselves by careing and just going out and helping those who need help, and not by them asking, but by going and just doing things. This is so easy to be yourself, if you can love yourself you can love others and if you can things for yourself, you can do for others. Just be being yourself it is amazing how you feel about yourself. So go out and be yourself and say hi to a stranger or if you are shopping and you see someone that needs help offer to help them it doesn’t take much time to help people. But most of all just be yourself and watch how others treat you.
